Amy Hunt broke out in tears after won the silver medal in the 200 -meter test at the Tokyo World Athletics Championships.
The 23-year-old British could not control his emotions when he saw his name on the table, after he managed to overcome the Jamaica athlete, Shericka Jackson, who ranked 3rd. At the after-interview, Amy Hunt described the race as “sexy and aggressive.”

The athlete, born in Nottinghamshire, chose to follow a diploma in English literature at Cambridge, competing in parallel with studies until graduating from 2023.
Hunt was part of the Britain's women's team of 4X100 m at the 2024 Olympics, where he obtained the silver medal.
“I chose to go to Cambridge to get a diploma, partly for me, so I could look back with proud, but also to show other young athletes, other young girls, that you do not have to give up education,” the athlete added.
Hunt revealed his plans to follow Wightman's example, copying his unique style of celebrating through Karaoke after racing. The Scottish had previously told that he marked Victoria singing the Gold song of the band Spandau Ballet at Karaoke.
