Donald Trump about Russian drones in Poland: “I can't judge it”

Donald Trump referred to Russian drones in Poland during an interview with Fox News in the residence of the British Prime Minister Chequers.
– You just know I can't comment on whether it was a mistake or not. They shouldn't be there, let's be honest. But apparently they were turned off. You know, today you can turn off drones. A great way to attack the drone is to turn it off, and they fall everywhere. So let's hope it was like that, said Trump.
He again expressed his disappointment with the attitude of Vladimir Putin and admitted that he thought that the solution to the conflict in Ukraine would be easier because of his relations with the Russian leader.
When asked whether in the light of additional air forces, sent to Poland by Great Britain and other allies, America will send fighters or patriot systems, Trump replied:
– Well, we help intelligence. But when I talked about aviation help, I meant safety after the war (in Ukraine). So after the war we will help in providing peace and I think that it will eventually happen – stated.
Trump again expressed the belief that if he were the president in 2022, Russian aggression would never happen. He also repeated his appeal to European countries and NATO to stop buying crude oil from Russia.
– I am very disappointed when they talk about sanctions. I have nothing against sanctions, but when I talk about sanctions and people buy oil from Russia, they should not buy it. This completely changes the situation – said Trump. He added that if Europe imposed “sanctions or duties on China, however we call it,” Beijing would force Moscow the end of the war.
“I would do something too, but again: it can't be that Europe buys oil from Russia, and I am angry with China for doing the same,” Trump pointed out.
However, responding to the suggestion that Hungary and Slovakia are the main buyers of Russian oil, Trump replied that in their case “this can be understood in some way, because they have close relationships” with Russia.
– But it's also about other countries and you just can't do it He added.
Hungary and Slovakia are the only EU countries that import Russian oil directly with a friendship pipeline, while from among NATO countries Türkiye is the main importer of this raw material. Other European countries, including France, Belgium or Spain, however, still buy Russian gas.
