Olga Zagitova, Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Four -day working week.
In her opinion, The decision must make the business itself, taking into account economic feasibility and industry features. So, for example, medicine, education and services may not be ready to reduce working days.
Moreover, some other industries could now switch to a new schedule. However, employers need to calculate whether the transition to a reduction in expenses or, conversely, will increase them.
“If the production worked from 9 to 17, and now it will be from 9 to 21 hours, it is necessary to consider whether the costs of the production cycle will increase or are compensated at the expense of one day,” Zagitova explained Sibnovosti.ru to reporters.
In addition, a 40-hour working week is enshrined in labor legislation. What will happen to them in the event of a reduction in days is unclear.
The expert noted the potential advantages of the four -day: increasing employee motivation, increased performance and reduction of personnel turnover.
