Charles praised Trump's “personal commitment” to stop wars

King Charles III praised, in a sober and short speech, Donald Trump's “personal commitment” to try to end conflicts around the world.

The sovereign addressed his favorite subject: the conservation of the environment for future generations.

Although he is a defender of fossil fuels, Donald Trump praised the King's commitment to “Restore the life of the rivers (…) and to plant trees.”

The 94 -year -old Rupert Murdoch media tycoon counted among the guests, despite the process he recently filed for Donald Trump, which he was located away.

At the banquet, the world of technology was widely represented, especially with the Apple CEO, Tim Cook, the Openai CEO, Sam Altman, the Nvidia CEO, Jensen Huang and Steve Schwarzman from Blackstone.

The guests, including US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent and the special envoy Steve Witkoff, were able to enjoy Panna Cotta with Năsturel de Hampshire, biscuits with parmesan and salad of quail eggs, Ballotine of Norfolk chicken, wrapped in pumpkin, with a sauce infused with Cimbru. of vanilla ice cream with Kent raspberry sorbet and ripe plums Victoria. The cognac served after dinner was from 1912, the year in which Donald Trump's mother was born in Scotland, and for this occasion a “Transatlantic Whisky Sour” cocktail was created.

Donald Trump's daughter Tiffany was the only one of her five children who participated.

Few guests were, however, from the world of culture and film.

Charles III is known for his passion for horticulture, and some of the floral arrangements decorating the table, besides 139 candles, were composed of flowers from the Buckingham Palace and Windsor.

One hundred people served a dinner whose meal preparation lasted a week. The 1,452 cutlery has been arranged for months.

The list of wines included a red wine from California Ridge Vineyards, Monte Bello, since 2000, an English sparkling white wine Wiston Estate from 2016 and Pol Roger Extra Réserve champagne. Donald Trump does not consume alcohol.
