Beeline interrupted more than 5 thousand calls from scammers in the Krasnoyarsk Territory thanks to a new function

In one week of August, Beeline dropped 5,056 calls from telephone scammers in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

All of them were reflected thanks to the mechanism of protection against fraudulent calls, which the operator introduced in June 2025. Antiphrod algorithms automatically interrupt the conversation if the subscriber calls from a suspicious number and during a conversation he comes to SMS with a code from the bank or “public services”.

Beeline analysts found that mostly fraudsters attacked middle -aged people: 58 % of all the calls dropped were 31–50 years old. In second place were subscribers who are from 51 to 65 years old, and in the third – youth up to 30 years. In most cases, fraudsters called in the morning – until 12 a.m. And the reason for dropping a call was most often became SMS from “public services” and large banks.

In just one week throughout Russia, Beeline dropped 446 thousand fraudulent calls, which affected more than 232 thousand subscribers. Moreover, in some cases, the subscriber number could try to dial a few hundred times. The record for the number of attempts by scammers to establish contact with one client is recorded in the Republic of Adygea. There Beeline dropped 892 calls in one hour.

In the whole country, more than 20 cases have been recorded in the country when people tried to call over 100 times in a short period of time. The security system interrupts such attempts automatically. After the first call of scammers, monitoring is turned on for a certain time, as a result of which scammers will not be able to contact the subscriber, and he can call them back on their own.

The protection function is already working for all Beeline subscribers, preventing attempts to lure codes and ensuring the calm of subscribers. An additional fee is not charged for it, it works automatically and does not require additional connecting anything.
