– For me it was also an opportunity to say about starting new discussions about reparation issues that are very important for Poles, for Polish women. I am in favor of Germany paying reparations by Poland – said the president. – I suggested that we could be heading towards solving the financing of the Polish arms industry, military possibilities, which on the one hand would be the beginning, certainly a long process. This is not a ready recipe yet, but it is a proposal that on the one hand Germany could start paying off reparations by building the strength of the Polish army, armed potential, while strengthening what we all care about, i.e. the eastern flank of NATO – he added. – I get the impression that if political synergy regarding reparations would occur in Poland, they would be possible. After these conversations, I think Poles should speak with one voice – emphasized Nawrocki.
As for the conversation with the President of France, the most time was to take the subject of the contract with Mercosur countries.
– The conversation concerned the issue of security, as well as the Nancy Treaty. There are many topics that connect us. We also moved around topics related to the agreement with Mercosur countries – said Nawrocki.
