A controversial incident took place in Mehedinti County, where the gendarmes descended to a wrong address during an operation organized together with the organized crime control service. In the respective home was a pensioner, who was immobilized by masks after reacting violently to their entry on his property.

However, during the intervention, a man became agitated and aggressive, which caused law enforcement to immobilize him.

As a result of the error, the management of the Gendarmes Inspectorate Mehedinti triggered an internal verification.
