The Yenisei basin water administration (ENBVU) set the mode of operation for the Boguchansky hydroelectric power station, which allows the shipping levels for the water supply of Boguchana and Tatar until the completion of navigation on the Angara River, as well as accumulate hydraulic resources in the eve of the upcoming heating season.

Before the beginning of October, the station has been preserved with the average water consumption in the range of 3000-3500 cubic meters per second, introduced in August. The decision was made in accordance with the order of the Federal Agency for Water Resources (Rosvodresurs) and the recommendations of the interdepartmental working group to regulate the operating modes of the Angaro-Senisei cascade reservoirs.

According to ENBVU, the influx in Baikal in July amounted to 70 %of the norm, in August-60-95 %, the forecast for September is 43-76 %. The operating mode of all Hydroelectric power stations of the Angarsk cascade is established taking into account this forecast and allows you to save hydraulic resources on the eve of the upcoming winter. In early September, the average level of the Boguchansky reservoir was at the mark of 207.69 m (above the Baltic Sea), in 2024 for the same dates – at a mark of 207.62 m.

At the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station, there are six hydraulic units in the work, the average costs since the beginning of September are about 3130 cubic meters of water per second. Such expenses allow more than 47 million kWh of electricity per day, which corresponds to the design indicators of the station. The Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station reached the design capacity in the summer of 2015, since the launch of the first units in October 2012, the station has delivered to consumers more than 190 billion kWh.

After the completion of the planned overhaul of hydraulic units No. 5 and No. 9, the staff of the Boguchanskaya hydroelectric power station is completed by the current repair of hydraulic unit equipment No. 7. Specialists will have to inspect and maintenance of the guide bearings of the hydrogenerator and hydraulic turbine, verification of performance and a flaw detection of various nodes. The repair program includes an inspection of the underwater part of the forty -holding grilles and vibration tests. By the end of the year, the current repair of two more units is planned.
