What The Guardian writes about the entry of the Russian drone in Romania. The mentioned locality

The British daily The Guardian dedicated, in the opening of the site on Sunday, a large material about the penetration of the Russian drone into the airspace of Romania, on Saturday, during an attack on the Ukrainian infrastructure from the Danube.
“Romania has become the latest NATO member state that reported a foray of a drone into its airspace, Poland sending airplanes in response to new Russian drones just across the border,” the British journalists write.
The Guardian quotes the announcement made by the Romanian Defense Ministry, according to which Romania sent two F-16 fighter jets to monitor the situation.
What we know about the incident in the airspace of Romania: “The Russian drone flew very low” / reaction from Ukraine: “their routes are always calculated”
The planes “detected a drone in the national air space” and followed it until it “disappeared from the radar” near the town of Chilia Veche, the ministry said.
Chilia Veche commune, in Tulcea county, is located near the Danube. The commune has about 1,800 inhabitants, and most of them are old, said in 2023 the mayor of the commune, Alexandru Timur Ciauş.

Zelenski's warning
The Guardian also reminds of the statements made by the Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelenski after the Romanian incident.
The Ukrainian leader warned that Russia deliberately expands its drone operations and that the West must respond with tougher sanctions and closer cooperation in the field of defense.
The last incursions of the drones were “an obvious extension of the Russia's war,” Zelenski said. “The Russian army knows exactly where its drones are heading and how long they can operate in the air,” he added.
“Do not wait for dozens of” shaheds “and ballistic missiles before making definitive decisions,” Zelenski warned, referring to the Iranian design drones that Russia uses.
Previously, in Washington, US President Donald Trump said he is ready to impose major sanctions to Russia – as soon as all NATO nations will do the same and stop buying Russian oil.
What happened in Poland
Also on Saturday, Poland announced that she and her NATO allies “have held helicopters and aircraft when Russian drones hit Ukraine not far from her border,” The Guardian notes.
Against the background of the threat represented by drones, “the Polish and Allied aircraft operate in our airspace, and the air defense and radar recognition systems have reached the highest level of alert,” the Polish military command announced.
In the evening, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced that the maximum alert was raised, at the same time warning: “We remain vigilant.”
The Polish authorities said that these actions were “preventive nature”, after, four days ago, the Polish air space was violated by Russian drones, while Russia attacks Ukraine. Poland brought down these drones, with the support of the military planes of its NATO allies.
“Poland and its NATO member countries have been on guard since Warsaw announced that almost 20 Russian drones have entered its air space on Tuesday night,” the Guardian notes.
While Russia denotes that it targeted Poland, several European countries, including France, Germany and Sweden, have intensified their support for the defense of Polish air space.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed his concern on the incursion of Russian drones into the Polish airspace on Saturday, but tried to question the idea that Poland was deliberately targeted.
“No doubt: the drones were intentionally launched. The question is whether the drones were specifically targeted to enter Poland,” Rubio said. If it turns out that he was deliberate, “then, obviously, the situation will be … extremely escalated,” he told Washington reporters.
