How prices have changed over decades

I will show you one chart that reveals why parents-Military Parents literally sink in toys. The red line shows inflation in the American economy. It can be seen that since 1993 it increased by over 100 percent. The costs of nursery and kindergarten increased much more than the average. It is simply a cost that increased significantly.
Look at this blue line below. In 30 years it decreased by 76 percent. This is deflation that concerns toys. In the mid -90s, for example in 1994, you could buy a Barbie doll for around $ 9.99. Here are two of my barbie from the late 1980s and the beginning of the 1990s. Their hair looks like a tangled. They lost their shoes, but it happens. They probably cost about $ 10. for art.

Why are children's toys cheaper?
Currently, you can buy the basic Barbie doll model for even $ 7.99. It's surprising when you think that the last 30 years have passed and the price has remained the same. There are not many things that cost $ 10. in 1994 and still cost $ 10
In the 1980s and 1990s, getting a remote -controlled car was a real feat. And now in each store they sell remote -controlled cars for $ 10. Many toys are currently bought during discounts in Amazon or large stores. Once you went to a toy store, where the discounts were smaller. As a result, you can have many more of them without spending too much money.

My salon literally vomits with plastic, because there are toys everywhere. I know I'm not alone in it. Many other parents are also constantly struggling to embrace the number of toys that their children get.
Parents-Military Parents begging grandparents: “Please, stop buying us toys because we have too many of them.” This can be seen at many invitations to birthday parties. People are asking for gifts because they don't want to have more things at home. I think that many Millenial parents just don't want to have so much plastic in their lives, partly because they know that it will stay on earth for a thousand years. This is not good for the planet.
There are also many wooden toys. They are more expensive, but People perceive them as a bit more “moral”. After all, everyone knows that children love noisy, glowing plastic things that look terrible.
