Andrea Miklos has passed by series in the 400 m test at the Tokyo World Championships

Nine athletes represent Romania at the World Championships in Tokyo (September 13-21). Andrea Miklos (26 years old) qualified in the semifinals of the 400 m sample, succeeding his best time in the season. She will fight on Tuesday for entering the final. So far, no tricolor athlete has access in the fight for medals.

UPDATE 14:00. On Sunday, in the evening session, Andrea Miklos obtained the qualification in the semifinals of the 400 m sample. The Romanian managed his best time this season, ending the race in 50.96, in the third position in his series. It was overcome by Salwa Eid Naser (49.13) and Stacey Ann Williams (49.59). The Romanian has qualified with the 21st time. The three semifinals take place on Tuesday, from 3:07 pm.

Mihai Dringo competed in the 400 m men, where he managed a time of 45.21, which positioned on the 31st place, so he stopped in the series.
UPDATE. The third representative of Romania who entered the competition at the Tokyo World Championships was Bianca Ghelber, in the hammer throw. The Romanian evolved on Sunday morning, in group B qualification, and had the best performance of 69.61 m.
The final qualification scale was 74.00 m. The European champion of 2022 thus ranked 17th, only the first 12 advanced in the final. The first quality performance was successful by Camryn Rogers, with 77.52 m.

UPDATE 14:00 Alina Rotaru-Kottmann, bronze medal in 2023, did not catch the final from the length. The Romanian was ranked. Rotaru-Kottmann entered the competition with a jump of 6.36 m, then continued with a 6.18 m and ended with a 6.37 m. For this jump, Alina filed an appeal, as initially a 6.26 m measurement had been displayed. The best result of the two groups, which had 34 sports, was registered by 34 Davis-Woodhall, this jumping 6.88 m.
UPDATE. Andrei Rareș Toader missed the access to the final of the weight throw, after ranking on Saturday morning, on the 13th place in qualifications. The Romanian had the most bum, one of 20.38 m, the same result as the Polish Konrad Bukowiecki, but it took the last place in the final due to a second better throw.

The best result of the qualifications was obtained by Tom Walsh (New Zealand) with 21.74 m, followed by Americans Adrian Piperi (21.47 m) and Ryan Crouser (21.37 m). The qualification scale in the final was 21.35 m.

Rareș Toader and Alina Rotaru-Kottmann, the first in action
At this edition, two of the “tricolors” begin their developments on the inaugural day. The first enters the area of emotions Rareș Toaderthis year's indoor European champion at the weight of weight.
