A man died and four people were injured and arrived at the hospital following a conflict that took place on a boulevard in Craiova on Saturday, the representatives of the Dolj County Police Inspectorate announced. They said that three people are in the custody of the police, according to news.ro.
The representatives of IPJ Dolj announced that the police were notified on Saturday, on the Boulevard Nicolae Romanescu in Craiova there is a conflict between several people.
Images on social networks showed a very violent conflict with several cars stopped on the street and several men who hit sticks.
In the video clip filmed by a passerby you can see how a man with a stick in his hand is braid, falls in front and stays motionless. There is also seen another man on the other side of the street, injured, trying to walk in four paws.
Several crews of police and gendarmes moved to the scene, and some people managed to run. Shortly after, they were caught by police in Branişte. According to a police representative, apart from sticks, some of those involved were armed with knives.
“Following the event, a man died, four people were transported to the hospital for medical care, and three other persons are in the custody of the police. Given the circumstances of the deed, the investigations were taken over by a criminal prosecutor within the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Dolj Court, being carried out for the law, and the police were carried out.
Following the conflict, cars, sticks, and other objects remained, and the police are investigating the place.
