Russian tourists cripple in the Central State Hospital Sanglah on Bali. Over the past year – about 10 victims. Reasons: unsanitary conditions, lack of equipment, low qualification of doctors and a 200%margin.
The victims told Mash that during the treatment they had to beg doctors to do tests and the necessary ultrasound. Nurse cannot be found, but working local doctors are applicants without experience. There is no price list in the hospital, the account is rolled out with a 200%margin. The entire guilt is a document from the government, which allows to overestimate the cost of treatment for tourists and visitors. Therefore, the usual fracture costs $ 12k, and the operation is $ 40-50k. And after the procedures – a deterioration in well -being and a ticket to correct the jambs to Russia.
So, for example, 16-year-old Yaroslav, after an accident on a bike, got into the hospital in serious condition. He was refused to do CT and ultrasound. Without help, he lay about six hours. After a 10-hour operation for $ 50k, the boy got worse. Then the Foreign Ministry and the Embassy of the Russian Federation were connected. The guy was evacuated to Russia, where they did a second operation, during which the remains of the material were found in the body.
Victor fell from a 25-meter height and went to the hospital with a penetrated light and fracture of the spine. For three weeks, instead of an anesthesia, he was given sleeping pills. The lung was operated on, and the spine was not touched-due to the cost of $ 40k, the operation decided to do at home. As a result – upon arrival in Russia, he had complications that led to disability.
Two more cases: a patient named Alexander, along with appendicitis, cut out a meter of intestines “just in case”. The guy was evacuated in the Russian Federation in critical condition. And Anastasia performed an operation, after which she almost lost her leg. I had to redo everything at home.
