The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, says he will never agree with the compulsory vaccination. He claims that people have the right to choose, but to do it “inform correctly and completely,” writes News.ro.
“I will never agree with the compulsory vaccination. I think people have the right to choose whether or not they use medical treatment, but to choose information correctly and completely,” said Alexandru Rogobete on Thursday night at TVR Info.
He also stated that the wave of anti-vaccination, anti-technology and anti-medicine appeared after the Covid-19 Pandemic “takes a very serious size”.
“Medical misinformation – I say to hear everyone – medical misinformation from my point of view, kills people,” added the Minister of Health.
Rogobete asked, rhetorically, who is guilty for the children who were measles, because they were not immunized by vaccination. “Romania is in the first place for children's measles in the European Union, not only in number of cases, but also in number of deaths. Deads that could be avoided by proper vaccination, not with vaccines made overnight, but with vaccines that have been used for 20 years or 30 years.”
Rogobete: Anti-Vaccine doctors, noticed at the Prosecutor's Office
The minister also emphasized that every time he finds that a doctor pleads against vaccines, he will address the prosecutor's office, stressing that the respective doctors risk losing the right to free practice.
Rogobete, said on Sunday that a report will be sent to the Prosecutor's Office that the Romanian College of Physicians will be made after the “Covid-19 and Bio-Digital Convergence” Conference, where “most of the information that was presented and promoted are not related to any scientific foundation”.
The conference held on Saturday in Brasov, an event presented as a medical debate, included topics such as “Post-Vaccination Cancer Explosion” and “Children who die because of the Covid vaccine”
Alexandru Rogobete said that “it seems completely unacceptable for certain doctors to promote information that is not medically verified in the public space, because from my point of view they are a direct attack on patient safety.”
