In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a criminal case was opened against the entrepreneur for illegal extraction of sand.
The police said that minerals were mined from May to July 2025 on the banks of the Chulym River 14 km west of Achinsk. According to the prosecutor's office, Achinsky River Port LLC had a license to remove sand from the bottom of the river, but there was no special equipment. Therefore, the deputy head of the enterprise decided to dig on the shore.

Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs explained that they managed to get 6.5 thousand cubic meters of sand. The amount of damage exceeded 5 million rubles.
A criminal case was opened against an official under Part 4 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code (theft). The sanction of the article implies the maximum punishment up to 10 years in prison.
