The Danish network puts “crisis” shops


Salling Group grocery stores, as well as with a different range, will be equipped with power generators. Points are to be able to accept cash and pays with card in emergency mode. “The goal is for 50 stores to be ready until 2028, but work on the first points is already underway” Salling Group assured in a communiqué. Ultimately, the Danish will have no more than 50 km for any prepared in the event of the crisis of the store.
The statement of the Danish concern was published after inviting to the meeting of trade representatives by the Minister for Crisis Management of Denmark Torsten Schack Pedersen. The purpose of talks planned for the beginning of October is to develop a model of securing population access to foodstuffs. Pedersen in the pages of “Berlingske” reminded that Denmark is in the most important situation in the field of security since the end of World War II in connection with Russian aggression on Ukraine.
