Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz presented to the Sejm information about the violation of Polish airspace by Russian drones. In the debate on this information, MPs asked about the Polish anti -done system, and according to some of them, Poland does not have such a system.
“During the debate, we received further information from our allies, from General Grynkewich, about the preparation of the entire package of solutions for Poland,” he said.
He noted that this is important because Poland acquires many abilities and purchases the type of equipment, but “time for delivery must be supplemented with allied abilities.”
He emphasized that drones are a very important issue in the context of state defense.
Some of the parliamentarians accused the Ministry of Defense with resignation from the Polish Skyctrl anti -done system. The head of the Ministry of National Defense asked not to spread misinformation that this system was used in the Polish army.
– It is used and tests of various systems that we want to use are conducted. We want to use Polish systems because we have very good drone industry companies-emphasized Kosiniak-Kamysz. In his opinion, the last MSPO fair in Kielce showed the abilities of Polish companies in this area.
He also assured that several dozen types of drones are delivered to the Polish Army – not only flying, but also by the surface, underwater and land.
He noted that the implementation of Ukrainian experiences to the Polish army takes time. “These are many years, which make us best prepared in the world for actions in the contemporary battlefield,” said the head of the Ministry of National Defense.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for a government in Berlin announced that Germany would “extend and intensify activities in the field of the protection of airspace over Poland.”
