MTS mobile communications came to 27 small villages and villages of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

MTS announced the expansion of the LTE network in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The operator received access to high -speed mobile Internet and voice communication of about four thousand people living in small and remote settlements of the region.

MTS technical experts expanded the telecom infrastructure immediately in 15 municipal districts of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, including Ermakovsky, Idrin-Krasnoturansky, Bolshemurtinsko-Sukhobuzim, Aban, Dzerzhin-Taseevsky, Irbeysko-Sayan, Balakhinsko-Novoselovsky and others.

Now residents of 27 small settlements of the region, in each of which no more than 900 people live, will be able to remotely receive medical care and study, use public services without the need to go to district centers.

Among the settlements of the region, where the high -speed Internet of MTS came in, a lot of villages and villages founded by immigrants. For example, the Germans who arrived from the Volga region were laid by the village of Ekaterinovskoye, the village of Ekaterinov was chosen by peasants from Perm, the village of Bolshaya Telek was founded by residents of the Penza and Nizhny Novgorod provinces, and the village of Orlovka-immigrants from the Oryol province. Now the locals, the descendants of the first settlers, can quickly look for information on the Internet, including about the history of their village, and communicate with relatives in the video.

“We continue to update the network in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. For us, this is the most important task for 2025. In particular, we “cover” small and remote settlements for which the connection is sometimes the only opportunity to get education, pay for utilities, issue the necessary documents for public services, and contact the rescue services in difficult times, ask for help or simply consult a video or voice communication doctor. To date, the fourth -generation from MTS is almost 800 settlements of the region, where about 90% of the population lives, ”said Sergey Egoshin, director of MTS in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
