The perpetrator of the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk, a well -known magician activist, was detained – said the director of FBI Kash Patel. A few hours later, in the next post, he informed about the release of the suspect. “The detained person was released after progressing by law enforcement agencies. Our investigation is continued and we will continue to publish information for the sake of transparency,” we read.
Internet users are very critical of the FBI director accusing him of misleading public opinion. “You should not report on Twitter investigations on an ongoing basis until you are completely sure,” writes one of the portal users. Most of the comments, however, are much sharper: “In this situation, I think, it is normal to make preventive arrests of several suspects. Or maybe you don't announce it until you are sure?” – we read.

Charlie Kirk was an American conservative activist, political commentator and one of the most recognizable representatives of the young generation of the Right in the US, observed by millions of users in social media. In 2012, at the age of 18, he founded the Turning Point USA (TPUS) organization. This is a conservative youth movement that promotes right -wing values on university campus.
Kirk was known for the promotion of Protrumpian ideas, criticism of pandemic policy and negating scientific consensus on climate change.
