The Krasnoyarsk City Council will execute the powers of the village councils of four more territories. Such a decision was made at a meeting of a permanent commission on local self -government.
We are talking about territories that are attached to Krasnoyarsk as a result of municipal reform, and in which the powers of the selected village councils end. Now there are only four such territories: These are the Mininsky, Elite and Solontsovsky rural councils of deputies of the Emelyanovsky district, as well as the Berezovsky village council of deputies of the Berezovsky district.
The chairman of the Krasnoyarsk City Council Natalia Firyulina explained that the decisions made will not entail any additional budget expenses. The deputies who are now working in the territories can become assistants to the Krasnoyarsk deputies, so that, working on a public basis, help to understand management.
Natalia Firyulina recalled that in 2026, Krasnoyarsk will have to form a new budget, taking into account the attached territories.
The new composition of the Krasnoyarsk City Council will be selected only in 2028. Then the new head of the city will be elected. Recall that the current head of Krasnoyarsk Vladislav Loginov is in jail, he is suspected of receiving bribes.
