Germany will provide Ukraine thousands of long -range drones for “deep blows against the Russian War Machine”

Germany will launch a program that provides for the provision to Ukraine of “several thousand long -range drones” for “depth in the depth” of the territory against the “Russian war machine”, totaling 300 million euros, announced on Tuesday the German Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius, in the name of Ukraine, in the name that took place in London, AFP reports.
This “new depth initiative will include” delivery of several thousand long -range drones “made by the Ukrainian defense industry, Pistorius said, according to Agerpres.
The United Kingdom, which signed a Drone production in June with Ukraine in June, “will fund thousands of long -range attack drones, made in the UK in the next 12 months,” said the British Defense Minister John Healey.
Russian President Vladimir Putin “intensifies his attacks on Ukraine, so we have to go further and faster to deliver the essential military equipment to Ukrainian fighters,” added the British minister, who presided over this meeting in hybrid format attended by about 50 countries.
Beside Boris Pistorius, his Ukrainian counterpart, Denis Șmîhal, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte were present at the meeting.
Fund of over 2 billion euros for the purchase of military equipment for Ukraine
In January, London announced that an international coalition led by the United Kingdom together with Latvia will send 30,000 Kiev drones through the International Fund for Ukraine.
Through this fund, administered by the United Kingdom and funded by Ukraine Allies and partners, priority military equipment, including air defense systems, are purchased.
John Healey has announced that this fund currently raised over 2 billion pounds (2.3 billion euros).
“This financing of 2 billion pounds within the International Fund for Ukraine, led by the United Kingdom, is a symbol of unity, 11 countries collaborating with the United Kingdom to ensure that Ukraine receives the urgent help it needs,” he added.
