Firefighters intervene on Tuesday afternoon to extinguish a fire produced at a hay within the Bucharest Zoo. The fire manifests itself with open flame and there are large smoke releases.

The Inspectorate for Emergency Situations Bucharest-Ilfov announces that the fire broke out at a hay within the Zoological Garden located on Vadul Moldovei street, in Sector 1 of the Capital.

According to the quoted source, 11 vehicles of extinguishing with water and foam were alerted, a special intervention and rescue vehicle, a SMURD ambulance.

“At the moment, the fire manifests itself with open flame and smoke releases, on an area of ​​about 2000 square meters,” says ISUBIF.

So far, there are no victims, informs the representatives of ISU Bucharest-Ilfov, stressing that the firefighters' mission is dynamic.
