The first such case in Ukraine. It wasn't the drone that hit the government building

On the night of Saturday to Sunday, the Russians carried out a massive attack on Kyiv. The fire broke out near the Ukraine Hotel at Independence Square in Kiev after the strike of the Russian rocket. Flames also appeared in the building of the Ukrainian ministers' office in the Leczno region in Kiev. Due to the massive attack on Ukraine, the Polish army also picked up fighters.
The Mer of the City of Kiev, Witalij Klitschko, informed earlier that in the Pecherska district, which houses the headquarters of the government, a fire broke out “as a result of the likely shot down the unmanned aircraft”. Then the country's authorities confirmed that the reason was the attack of the Russian maneuvering rocket. The Ambassador of the European Union in Ukraine, the Maternna Qatarina, also informed about the case, who published a photo report from the scene.
“Missile aimed at the heart of the Ukrainian government”
“I saw it with my own eyes: Putin knows what he is doing. The Ballistic missile Iskander, who hit the office of ministers, was aimed at there – at the heart of the Ukrainian government. We were shown a lot of fragments of the bullet itself. And a lot of shards from cassette ammunition placed in the Islander” – wrote a diplomat in social media.
This is the first time the Russian rocket hit the government building. “Only due to the fact that the missile did not explode completely, the whole building was not razed to the ground. And thanks to the rapid action of the amazing rescue services of Ukraine – real heroes – the fire was controlled on three floors before it consumed the rest of the building” – added Katarina Materialnowa in her post.
