“In this three-month period, the PSD in no case can be accused of not providing a dialog. We were all the time that we went, I discussed, I did not give ultimatums and we tried to find common solutions within the coalition and we are the ones who were an active part in the dialog. Improvements of solutions and not unanimities ”, Grindeanu told Parliament.
He pointed out that imposing measures without consulting all parties cannot be considered a real collaboration process: “If someone tries to impose certain solutions, these things, if they are not part of a dialogue in which including PSD solutions, then it means that it is not a dialogue and we have to extract ourselves from this. And these things are as clear as possible. We do not have to be unanimously.”
Referring to the administrative reform, where a 10% discount of expenses was carried, Grindeanu explained that PSD actively participates in the working group that collects data and analyzes solutions: “It will come at the end of the week, there will be meetings with the associations of communes, cities, municipalities, county councils. It will reach a first form, which will be presented in public.”
The social-democratic leader warned, however, on the risk of formal reductions that do not generate real savings:
“Do you ask us to make an accounting discount, and the costs will be seen elsewhere, for goods and services? Because there may be mayors who have personnel expenses for example for the administration of the public domain, which will be part of the own apparatus. In other parts, these things can be outsourced. The same time, at the same time, the costs of goods and services will increase and then what I solved?
“We are a social-democratic party, in a right-wing coalition and we understand to keep the principles that define us. And this thing we do not do today, we have not only done it but we have done it since we do politics. It is our identity, which we understand from all points of view and with all the means and levers, if we have to support it. do ”, concluded Grindeanu.
