Simona Bucura-Orescu, former Minister of Labor, is the new questionor of the Chamber of Deputies

The plenary of the Chamber of Deputies validated the election of the former Minister of Labor on Monday, Simona Bucura-Orescu, as the chemor, after the resignation of Mitică-Marius Mărgărit.

Simona Bucura-Orescu, former Minister of Labor and Social Solidarity, was chosen on Monday by the plenary of the Chamber of Deputies as a chemist.

The decision comes after Mitică-Marius Mărgărit, the one who previously occupies this position, has resigned. Following the vote, the social-democratic deputy was designated to take over the vacant place in the management of the Chamber of Deputies.

“Mrs. Deputy Bucura-Orescu Simona, belonging to the parliamentary group of the Social Democratic Party, is chosen in the position of Chemor of the Chamber of Deputies, on the place became vacant as a result of the resignation of this position of Mr. Mitică-Marius Merge”it is specified in the decision adopted by plenary on Monday, September 8th.

Simona Bucura-Orescu has a relevant political experience, being a deputy in several legislatures and occupying the position of Minister of Labor and Social Solidarity between July 19, 2023-June 23, 2025, a position he left as a result of a censorship against gold which, surprisingly, was voted in Parliament.
