

According to the investigation, he was recruited back in 2012, and after the occupation of Crimea, he resumed contacts with the curator-the ex-complicator of the head of the guard of the former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych Dmitry Ivantsov, who is now working for the Russian special service.
The suspect transmitted limited access data more than 60 times, in particular, about Ukrainian security forces, activists and prisoners of war, the report said. To this end, he used closed law enforcement bases.
The investigation established that the NABU, the employee of the Central Electricity of NABU, who worked in the closed division of D-2, was part of the enemy’s large-scale agent network. Based on the case file, the criminal activity of agents was oversee by the employee of the 1st Service of the Department of counterintelligence operations of the FSB Igor Egorov. He began to form his agent network since 2009, when he repeatedly visited Ukraine as part of interagency interaction between the special services of the two countries.
The first of the agents that the SBU detained in 2020 was the major general of the Security Service Valery Shaitanov, the report said. Then, at the direction of Egorov, Shaitanov planned a number of terrorist attacks in Ukraine, as well as the murder of a famous military volunteer, collected and transferred information about secret operations in the ATO area, etc., said in the SBU.
Then the SBU installed another agent Egorov – Ivantsova. In February 2014, he helped Yanukovych escape to Russia-aggressor, and he stayed in the Crimea and joined the ranks of the invaders. Currently, Ivantsov is hiding on a temporarily occupied peninsula and is a resident of the FSB.
In 2024, the SBU exposed another participant in the network. It turned out to be a soldier of the National Guard. According to the investigation, for several years he transmitted to Ivantsov data about Ukrainian activists, senior officials, prisoners of war, information about the consequences of shelling in Ukraine, etc. Subsequently, the SBU installed another agent – this is a former employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who during the detention turned out to be the current NABU employee, the report said.
Now the defendant was reported about suspicion under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: part 1 of Art. 111 (state treason); Part 3 of Art. 362 (unauthorized actions with information processed in electronic computers (computers), automated systems, computer networks or stored on the media of such information made by a person entitled to access it).
The court chose a suspect measure of restraint in the form of detention. He faces imprisonment up to 15 years.
The SBU added that Shaitanov was sentenced to 12 years old, another agent serving the National Guard is in custody.

July 21 of the SBU and the office of the Prosecutor General conducted investigative actions on the “neutralization of Russian influence” on the National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine. Another suspect is an employee of the central apparatus of NABU, working in the most elite closed D-2 unit and, according to the investigation, spied for the Russian special services. The SBU did not indicate his name, but the circumstances of the case indicate that we are talking about Viktor Gusarov, whom the SBU called the “mole” of the FSB.
