The Minister of Labor, Florin Manole, told Romania TV on Sunday evening that he wants to encourage the pensioners to receive their money on the card to save on the budget.
Manole said he has recently launched a discussion in public space on the costs for the National Pension House that “are 10 times higher for half of the pensioners who opt to receive their cash, than the amounts paying the post, as bank commissions, for the other half of the pensioners,” writes news.ro.
“Our idea is, and I have to say it from the beginning, not to oblige anyone. I am not a fan of restrictive measures and restrictions of citizens, but I think we have to encourage more and more pensioners, and this happens naturally, I told you that half of the pensioners now take their pensions, so that the other one should be, Without great headaches from an organizational point of view ”, stressed Florin Manole.
The Minister of Labor stressed that an adequate infrastructure is also needed.
“I am perfectly aware that there is no ATM in any small locality in Romania, I am perfectly aware that some of the citizens will not want to have and continue to keep this right and I am convinced that some are not good at walking with the card. For them, no problem, their right remains in force, as much as the post, as much as the post, 2025, from all points of view, ”said Manole.
