Babele Chalet, a landmark for tourists who love the mountain and nature, are looking for a new owner, according to an announcement published on a real estate site.
Located near some reference objectives, Sphinx and Babele, who attract thousands of people from the country and abroad annually, the property has a sale price of 1.6 million euros, according to the announcement published on the website Imobiliare.ro.
The Babele Chalet “is located in the heart of the Bucegi Massif, in an area of rare natural beauty, recognized at national and international level. (…) Access is easy both through the Busteni cable car, which offers a spectacular travel and road experience, on the Transbucegi route, which has a constant flow” portfolio this property.
Babele Chalet, at an altitude of 2,200 meters, on the Bucegi Mountains plateau, was built in 1937, according to the plans of the architect Octav Doicescu.

According to the real estate agency representing the owner, there is an authorization for the modernization of the existing construction, and the land area related to the cottage allows the reconfiguration and optimizations of the current functionalities.
They also state that the property is suitable for an investment for making a four -star and restaurant hotel, with premium facilities and international standards, such as spa and wellness areas.
The property currently has a capacity of 108 places in rooms from 2 to 12 beds.
The ideal investor to start a project in what the real estate agency calls “unique location in Romania” is either a hotel group or a mountain tour operator, or an entrepreneur interested in a tourist reference destination.
The Babele cabin was put up for sale in 2022, when the sale price was 1.15 million euros, according to Antena 3.
