Sviridenko published a photo in which it is captured against the background of destruction after a fire in the Cabinet building.
“For the first time since the beginning of a full -scale invasion, the Russians hit the Cabinet of Ministers, where our whole team works. Fortunately, no one was injured. The fire was extinguished. Thanks to the rescuers. The Russian terror will not stop the government. We will not restore the destruction of the Ukrainians,” the premiere wrote.
As Sviridenko said, for this night in Ukraine, four people were killed due to Russian shelling and more than 44 were injured.
“It is obvious that Russia does not want peace. I urge our partners and all states of the world to turn Russia's disappointment into effective assistance for Ukraine – not for the government building, but to protect our people throughout the country. Time to act. Ukraine needs more air defense systems to protect the sky and energy infrastructure, especially before the approach of winter,” the head of the Cabinet said.
Sviridenko noted the importance of increasing sanctions pressure on Russia in order to “reduce resources for the Russian military machine.”
“This is all real – possibilities in your hands. Only our unity and a strong answer will be able to stop Russia and bring peace,” the prime minister summed up.
