A policeman who intervened to resolve a conflict at the hospital in Lupeni was injured with a knife on Saturday, informs the Hunedoara County Police Inspectorate (IPJ).
“The conflict broke out after the concubine of a young girl in the hospital, together with their one -year -old daughter, came to visit. The father of the young woman, a 49 -year -old man from Lupeni, assumed that his daughter was assaulted by the concubine and decided to do justice.“, It is shown in a statement of IPJ Hunedoara, writes Agerpres.
According to the same source, one of the policemen present at the intervention, a 34 -year -old agent, positioned between the two men. During the altercation, he was stabbed in the right thigh.
The agent remained aware, but needed immediate medical care.
