Siyyarto reacted to the words of the head of the Ukrainian state Vladimir Zelensky, who on September 5 expressed surprise to the position of Budapest, noting that even an illegitimate president of the aggressor of the Russian Federation Vladimir “Putin does not deny” regarding the membership of Ukraine in the EU.
“The President of Zelensky again proceeded from his own point of view. Unlike him, our position is not determined from abroad. We are not interested in what they think in Moscow about Ukraine’s entry into the EU,” the Hungarian minister wrote.
According to Siyyarto, Hungary “is interested in what the Hungarians think,” and “they expressed their opinion.”
“They do not want Ukraine to become a member of the EU! They do not want Ukrainians to destroy our farmers, our labor market and our security!” – emphasized the Foreign Minister of Hungary.
