The government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory discussed the topic of overhaul of schools in 2026.
Deputy Minister of Education of the Territory Tatyana Gridasova said that 23 schools opened in the region after overhaul on September 1. In 2026-2027, it is planned to update 27 more educational institutions. These are schools in Krasnoyarsk, Achinsk, Divnogorsk, as well as Sharypovsky, Minusinsky, Balakhtinsko-Novoselovsky, Sayan and other municipal districts. In buildings, facades, foundations, supporting structures, and engineering systems will be repaired.
The governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov emphasized that all the works planned for 2026 must be completed before the start of the school year.
“Contractors must leave school buildings no later than August 1. This is how contracts must be concluded, and it is necessary to provide increased fines for delay. Teachers should have the opportunity to prepare classes in advance for the beginning of the school year, ”the head of the region set the task of subordinates.
The heads of municipalities reported on the readiness of schools for repair. At all objects scheduled for 2026, experts have already worked to evaluate the volume of work. Some schools have already identified contractors and work has begun.
Recall that since 2025, the modernization of schools has been held as part of the federal project “All the Best – Children” of the National Project “Youth and Children”. Due to the regional budget in renovated schools, systems are set to increase safety, purchase new textbooks and manuals, and improve the surrounding area.
In total, from 2022 to 2027 in the region, major repairs will be held in 93 educational institutions.
