Today, a new meeting of the Disciplinary Commission of the FRF was held in which the fate of FCU Craiova was to be decided, a club on the verge of exclusion, due to older debts that, from June, began to attract two -point deposits every 15 days.
In 7 older files, for arrears to 6 players, but also at Dinamo, for the direct match of the Romanian Cup last season, the deadline provided by Article 85 of the disciplinary regulation, 90 days, has already passed. Because today there are already 91 days from the first period of submission.
The Oltenians asked to suspend the submissions
FCU Craiova was represented by the club lawyer, Mircea Moise. Who asked for the suspension of the submissions, reasoning that the FRF, the governing bodies, the members of the executive committee and, obviously, the federal commissions are illegal.
Because he could not prove with any court decision these statements, the trials being still on the role, he invoked the recent resolution of the Court of Justice of the European Union. Which established that the decisions of the football forums can no longer be final, and they can be challenged in civil. The discussions lasted more than an hour, with pros and cons.
Have remained in pronouncement
At the end, The Disciplinary Commission, which would have today decide the relegation of the FCU in the 3rd League, decided to postpone the case, remaining in pronouncement. First of all, on accepting the request to suspend the submissions submitted by Olteni.
And if it is rejected, on the last submission and exclusion of the FCU Craiova club in football. Because the group led by Adrian Mititelu did not register for AJF Dolj, neither to the 4th League nor to the last step, the 5th League.
