The most diabolical plan of “racial purification” in history. Aktion T4: Nazi plan that turned doctors into horseback

In 1939, in Nazi Germany, the most sinister and diabolical plan of racial “purification” in the history of humanity debuted. Over 300,000 children and adults with disabilities were killed in terrible conditions only because they did not match the Nazi ideals. It was the “repetition” for the Holocaust.

Nazi ideology was based on concepts such as “racial purity”, “vital space” and extermination of those who did not meet the standards of the “Aryan race”. Hitler dreamed of a world dominated by the German race in which the peoples considered “inferior” will be either enrolled or exterminated. The perceptions and rules of the “new world” set up by Hitler in Mein Keimp, apparently the pura and the result of a disturbed mind, tragically became a reality in a Germany dominated by the Nazi doctrine and controlled with the help of party networks, secret police and cohorts of individuals enchanted by the apotheotic speeches of the Nazi leader.
Following the application of the methods preached by the Nazi ideology, six million Jews died in the Holocaust. In addition to them, in the spirit of racial “purity” were killed and Roma, but also other ethnicities considered “UNTEMENSCH” (no subhumans). The Holocaust was prepared by a “general rehearsal” directed by Hitler against his own people. The methods used in the killing of the Jews were first experienced on hundreds of thousands of defenseless people, mocked and killed. It is about the most cynical and revolting program of “racial purification” in history. The Nazi regime killed over 300,000 children and adults with disabilities or mental problems only because the party leaders considered them useless for the effort of war and an economic burden.
In the name of racial purity
“Racial hygiene” or “racial purification” were the favorite concepts of Nazi ideology. They were the pillars of the concept of a new world, of a new man. “Racial hygiene will appear as a deed greater than the most victorious wars of our current bourgeois“, Hitler said in Mein Kampf.
In short, individuals with disabilities, mental disorders, with different physical defects that prevent them from working or fighting efficiently, but also the races considered “inferior” had to be removed from German and exterminated society. It is a form of eugenicism, a fairly popular current in Europe in the beginning of the 20th century.
Eugenism was supported by sterilizing those with serious hereditary mental illnesses, alcoholics, rapists and other categories considered undesirable to reproduce. In Germany, Eugenia has been supported since the 20s of ultra -nationalists and anti -Semites. Emil Kraepelin, a German psychiatrist from the interwar period supported Eugenism. In turn Eugen Bleuler, a Swiss psychiatrist claimed that racial damage was produced because of “mental and physical infirmities.”
“The most severely burdened should not be reproduced. If the natural selection is generally suppressed, and especially if we do not take new measures, our race gets to deteriorate quickly.”he said.
With such a medical support in the back the Nazis only applied their racial ghosts. In July 1933, it all started on the basis of the law “for the prevention of descendants with hereditary diseases”.

This law involved sterilization of people with conditions considered hereditary such as schizophrenia, epilepsy, Huntington's disease and “imbecility”. Sterilization was also legalized for chronic alcoholism and other forms of social deviance. The law was applied by the Ministry of Interior under Wilhelm Frick through special hereditary health courts, which examined detainees from asylums, prisons, homes and special schools, to select those to be sterilized. It is estimated that 360,000 people were sterilized under this law between 1933 and 1939.
“Aktion T 4”, the slaughter against the children
Sterilization failed to satisfy the Nazi leaders. Since 1933, the Nazi and ideologues of the party sent arrows and suggest that in addition to sterilization, a total removal of those who “ruined” the purity of the breed would go. But Hitler did not consider the moment. He was waiting to start the war to justify many of the regime's crimes. In addition, the attention of the population was to be distracted by the evolution of the war. “Such a problem could be solved easier and easier during the war”, Hitler confessed to his personal doctor Karl Brandt and Hans Lammers, the head of the Reich Chancellery.

At the end of 1938 when an unusual application was filed at the Chancellery Bureau of the Nazi Party. Specifically, farmer Richard Kretschmar, a fervent Nazi, demanded the German state to euthanize his own son, a baby of only a few months. And this under the conditions in which the child had been born blind, without a hand and without a leg. Hitler solved the petition by asking his doctor Karl Brandt to euthanize the farmer's child. The lethal injection was applied in July 1939. Later he ordered Brandt to proceed in all similar cases. “Racial purification” began according to the Nazi model.
The action was premeditated, some say, for several years. It is suspected that the Nazi farmer would have been trained to make a public scene to justify the subsequent killings. It is certain that in October 1939, Hitler empowered Karl Brandt, his personal doctor, but also the head of the Führer chancellery, to start mass euthanasia.
Through Hitler Directive, it clearly stated that Dr. Karl Brandt and Chancellery, Philipp Bouhler, were “In charge of the responsibility to expand the authority of the doctors, so that patients considered incurable, according to the best human judgment available on their health, can benefit from a mercy death.”is shown in the circular.
The program was called “Aktion 4” according to the address on which the offices of the Reich Chancellery, ie Tiergartenstrasse 4. This evil project practically involves the entire German psychiatric community. A new bureaucracy led by doctors was established for the purpose of killing anyone who was labeled as “an unworthy life.” In short, real medical committees were set up and children with physical, mental disabilities, genetic diseases were meant with a number of crosses at the end of the observation sheet. From two crosses upwards were the euthanasia.

Since August 18, 1939, the Reich Ministry of Interior issued a decree that required all doctors, nurses and midwives to report newborns and children under the age of three who had signs of severe mental or physical disability. Since October 1939, the public health authorities have begun to encourage parents of children with disabilities to admit them to one of the six specially designated pediatric clinics in Germany and Austria.
In fact, the clinics were children's extermination sections. There, medical staff especially recruited the days. At first only infants and young children were included in the operation. The measure expanded and included teenagers up to 17 years old.
The children were initially killed by starvation. It was considered the cheapest method. Then when the number of children to be killed grew, the victims were killed by lethal and even gas overdoses. The parents received letters that were informed that the little ones were killed by the poj, heart problems and other medical problems. It is estimated that over 10,000 German children with physical and mental disabilities have died from this criminal program.
Doctors in the service of evil and hundreds of thousands of dead
The program has been extended quickly to adults. The peak, a whole cohort of doctors and German chemists was delighted by these criminal practices, because they corresponded to their eugenic principles. “I find it unbearable that the flower of the German youth must lose its life on the front, so that the weak element of mind and associative can have a safe existence in the asylum“Said Hermann Pifanmuller, the director of the Munich Hospital and one of those involved in crimes. Euthanasia were made by Viktor Brack and his staff from Tiergartenstrase, under the cover of a so -called” charitable foundations for care and institutional treatment “, which served as a screen.
The action was supervised by Bouhler and Brandt. Among the responsible officials were those involved in killing children, including Pifanmuller. In this action were mostly involved psychiatrists, supporters of Eugenia. In the program were included the infirm. That is, those who could not be used on the front or in production facilities. Those considered “useless” by the Nazi regime being called “burdensome lives” and “useless foods”. As with children, people with disabilities, mental disorders, serious infirmities, serious genetic diseases were taken from home, under various reasons and admitted to special centers. They were officially called asylum. In reality there were extermination centers. Most were killed by gas. The method that will be used in camps was applied.
I mean, people were able to take a shower. Instead of water, that toxic gas was killed. At home, the relatives were notified, as in the case of children, that the respective member of the family, with disabilities, died for different causes, pneumonia or heart disease.
They also received a ballot box with an alleged ash of the deceased. There were doctors who refused to kill or send people to death by completing the forms of hospitalization of people with disabilities in the “death centers”. Moreover, more and more people, parents of killed children, relatives of gasy adults, have begun to ask for account. To avoid riots, on August 24, 1941, Hitler officially concluded “Aktion T 4”. Secretly, however, the killings continued. Only 70,000 adults were killed during the official period. Until 1945, it is assumed that the number of victims reached 300,000.
