The French company Renault announced on Monday the appointment of Katrin ADT (53 years), former vice-president Mercedes-Benz, as general director of the Dacia brand.
The decision is part of the reorganization of the management team, initiated under the leadership of the new group director, Francois Provest, informs Reuters, quoted by Libertatea.ro.
Katrin Adt will replace Denis voting. He, considered one of the favorite candidates for Renault's executive director, will leave the company, the group announced.

At the same time, Renault designated Fabrice Cambolive, the current director of the Renault brand, in the new position of group growth director. In July, the company appointed Francois Provocest in the position of CEO, after the unexpected departure of former director Luca de Meo.
Provest said that these changes at the level of management will allow the company to respond faster to current challenges.
Renault is under the pressure of increasing competition and reduced request, factors that have determined the company to issue a warning about profit earlier this year.
“In order to deal with all the challenges we face, we need an organization capable of making faster decisions, executing more efficiently and being closer to its customers,” he said.
Dacia remains the largest exporter in Romania. Last year, the Mioveni plant produced 309,432 cars, a slightly lower level than 322,086 units manufactured in 2023, according to BIZ magazine.
I am pleased to join the Renault group and take over the leadership of the Dacia brand. It is a privilege to contribute to writing the next chapter of his remarkable success story, along with an exceptional team.
