Iga Swiak started the match with a break, but Alexandrova immediately managed the rebreak. Subsequently, at the score of 3-3, Polish managed two other breaks and won with the score of 6-3 in the first set.

In the second set, IgA dominated again and won 5 consecutive games, of which 2 on the opponent's service, winning the score of 6-1.

The Iga Swiak remains in the race for the 7th Grand Slam of the career, after imposing at the US Open in 2022. It would be the second Grand Slam consecutive for the IGA, who won Wimbledon this year. Previously, the Polish was 4 times at Roland Garros, in 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2024.

The slag season has always been my favorite, but people do my job quite hard because of the surrounding pressure. Sometimes it is easier to enjoy the surfaces that it is more difficult to play, but where you have more freedom to make mistakes and accept those mistakes. Every month is different.

I can play on any surface if I feel well with my game and what I have in my head. I trust myself. I'll try to play well throughout the year.
