Meteorologists from the National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued on Saturday, August 30, two yellow storms and steel warnings, but also a warning, valid this weekend for several regions of the country.

Yellow storm code – Saturday to Sunday

The yellow storm code was announced – Saturday to Sunday. Validity range: August 30, 23 – 31 August, 10 o'clock

In Banat, Oltenia and southwest Transylvania, torrential showers, electric shocks, wind intensifications are announced, possibly 50-70 km/h bursts and hail insulated. The quantities of water will reach 20–30 l/sqm and isolated will exceed 40 l/sqm.

Yellow code of heat – Saturday

Validity range: August 30, 12–21 hours

In the southern half of Oltenia, Muntenia and Dobrogea, the temperatures will reach 35–37 ° C. It will be the heat and thermal discomfort accentuated, and the temperature-humidity index (ITU) will reach the critical threshold of 80 units on the restricted areas.

In Transylvania, the south of Banat, northern Oltenia and Muntenia, are forecast torrential showers, electric shocks, wind intensifications, possibly gusts of 50-70 km/h and hail isolated. The quantities of water will be 20-30 l/sqm and, on restricted areas, will exceed 50 l/sqm.
