Superliga: Rapid wins with UTA and approaches the leader. First defeat for Aradians

Rapid București defeated the UTA Arad team, score 2-0, in the first match played in the number 8 of Superliga.

The Giulestii opened the scoring in the 13th minute, when Petrila focused from the corner, and Ciobotariu scored with a header.

The team coached by Costel Gâlcă broke off in the 30th minute, after a phase at which Borza passed in front of the gate, and Dobre scored from slipping.

Thanks to this success, Rapid has accumulated 18 points and ranks 2nd, at a single length behind the leader University Craiova.

On the other hand, UTA suffered the first defeat this season (3 wins and 4 draws) and stays in 3rd place, with 13 points.
