Panic on board a London -Bacău flight, after a broken window was “repaired” with scoots before take -off

There were moments of panic among the passengers of a Wizz Air London -Bacău race, after one of the plane's windows was discovered just before take -off. The incident took place at London airport, where safety staff noticed the problem at one of the hubs during checks.
After about 20 minutes, an engineer intervened and applied an adhesive tape over the window. Passengers reported that the band seemed to be a regular roller roller, which amplified their fears during the three flight hours. The aircraft arrived in Bacău without other incidents, reports Bacău.net.
According to the specialists, the windows of the aircraft are made up of three layers: exterior (pressurized and resistance), intermediate (safety) and interior (protection and comfort). In this case, only the inner layer has been affected, without compromising the safety of the flight.
Some voices joked about the situation: “If he had known that that piece of tape costs, probably, as much as a Logan, it may have been quiet …”, According to Cluj News.
The applied tape could, in fact, be Speed Tape – an adhesive aluminum tape, specially designed for temporary aviation repairs, capable of withstanding high pressures and extreme temperatures, but many travelers have accused that the product used seemed to be a regular scooter.
Experts specify that the use of Speed Tape is a standard, temporary procedure, until a permanent ground repair. In this case, the tape was applied inside, and the safety of the passengers was not endangered.
The Digi24 reporters asked for a point of view to the company that operated the flight, Wizz Air, but have not received an answer so far.
