His OSF Foundation operates in dozens of countries, financing social, educational and equality programs.

From 2023, Alexander Soros, who continues his father's activity, took over the reins at the Foundation. The younger Soros, like OSF, is on the side of progressive environments in the USA. In the presidential election in 2024 he supported the candidate of the Democratic Party Kamala Harris, Trump's rival.
“The organization does not support or finance brutal protests. Our mission is to promote human rights, justice and democracy here and all over the world” – wrote the foundation spokesman in a statement.
Trump's accusations are part of the long -lasting narrative of the former president and some conservative environments in the US, which depict Soros as a symbol of the “extreme left” and global elites interfering with the United States internal policy. The Soros Foundation has been the goal of the Campaign of Claims and conspiracy theories for years, but evidence has never been presented to its relationship with the financing of violence or unlawful actions.
