The Warren Buffeta investment vehicle, the German arms jewel and the American investment platform, are some of the news that appeared on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The number of companies listed on GlobalConnect reached 44 entities, and investors increase the presence of this market.

On Tuesday, August 26, one German and seven American companies debuted on the youngest WSE market – Global Connect. The list of new products appeared:
- Berkshire Hathaway
- Boeing Company
- Procter & Gamble Company
- Palantir Technologies
- Robinhood Markets
- Take-Two Interactive Software
- Uber Technologies
- Rheinmetall
The decision to introduce new companies was made at the request of the introductory market animator, which is the Santander Brake Office.
“New entities represent key sectors of the global economy and belong to the S&P 500, NASDAQ-100 and DAX indexes. Questions are carried out in Polish zlotys, which reduces the costs of currency conversation and makes it easier for investors to implement the transaction. As the extension, the number of companies available on the globalConnect market will increase to 44.” – the WSE said in a message dedicated to the debut.
The stock exchange also emphasized that in recent months the GlobalConnect market has recorded record results. In July, the turnover value reached PLN 15.6 million, while a year earlier it was PLN 2.8 million, which means almost six times.

According to the WSE, both the favorable economic situation and wider access to global brands are behind the dynamic development. In May, the shares of five companies from Denmark and Sweden were introduced to the market on GlobalConnect: Carlsberg, H&M, Novo Nordisk, Vestas Wind Systems and Volvo.
“We enjoy the growing interest in this market. We see that with the expansion of the list of available companies, not only the number of transactions, but also the involvement of investors is increasing. Our goal is to further develop GlobalConnect and consistently increase its attractiveness for the domestic capital market. This market is becoming an increasingly interesting element of our offer, corresponding to the needs of investors seeking access to global brands without converting” – – – He commented on the stock exchange, Marcin Gruba, Senior Account Manager, market development department, WSE.
