Deputy Prime Minister Sikorski took part in a teleconference with the Secretary of State Marco Rubio, a high representative of the EU for foreign affairs and security policy Kaja Kallas and the heads of diplomacy of Ukraine, France, Germany, Finland, Italy and Great Britain.

“The meeting was devoted to perspectives for suspension of weapons, outlined after recent talks between the President of the United States Donald Trump and the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelnski with the participation of representatives of European countries in Washington,” reads the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Radosław Sikorski: The Kremlin will not abandon its goals
Deputy Prime Minister Sikorski was to emphasize in his speech that Poland felt responsible for the security of the region and the development of a peace solution. He pointed to the key importance of Poland in a possible peace operation as a place to command the operation, ensure logistics facilities, supply chain.
“In addition, Deputy Prime Minister Sikorski warned that in his opinion the Kremlin did not abandon his maximistic goals from the beginning of the war. He indicated that the way of bringing Russia to the table to strengthen the pressure on it and continue the political, economic and military support for Ukraine” – emphasized the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the communiqué.
