Formally, the “Active Parent” program has started since October 2024. Now, however, – specifically on August 29 – withdrawals from one of the elements of the government program will begin.

As a reminder: the “Active Parent” program somehow took over the beneficiaries of the currently functioning family care capital (CPR) and nursery co -financing PLN 400. The program not only maintained the acquired rights, but also expanded the catalog of support (in the case of CPR, it also included support for the first child) and increased the value of nursery support to PLN 1,500.
The government program “Active Parent” provides for three forms of support:
- “Active parents at work” benefit
- The benefit “actively in the nursery”
- “actively at home” benefit.
Applications for using the program can be submitted via the Internet: PUE ZUS (EZUS) platform, MZUS mobile application, electronic banking, EMP@TIA portal of the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy.
Parents who raise a child from 12 to 35 months can receive one support for each child depending on their own choice.
PLN 1,500 or PLN 1,900 per month for parents. New benefit from August 29
As the WNP.pl website reminds, none of the available benefits is related to the income criterion.
The benefit “Active parents at work”, which is also referred to as “grandma”, will amount to PLN 1,500 per month for two years – from 12 to the age of 35 a month of life of a child. Parents and guardians of children with disabilities will receive greater support – PLN 1,900 per month.
The second benefit – “actively in the nursery” – is to replace the current funding of up to PLN 400 to a fee for staying in children's care institutions under three years of age. The benefit will be addressed to parents of children who use a nursery, children's club or a daily guardian. Support will be up to PLN 1,500 per month per child or to PLN 1,900 per month for a child with disabilities.

The third form of benefit – “actively at home” – is entitled to the same principles as currently functioning family care capital. New will be the possibility of obtaining money for each – including the first and only child – from the age of 12 to the age of 35. The benefit will be PLN 500 per month for two years.
Payments under the “Active Parent” program will start on August 29. This is the date of payment for the benefits “Active parents at work” and “actively at home”. In their case, the money goes to accounts on the last business day of each month. However – as the WNP.pl website reminds – parents using the benefit “actively in the nursery”, they receive money earlier (withdrawals are scheduled for the 20th day of each month “.
