Krasnoyarsk residents more often began to complain about the consequences of the dropper

Residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory for the first half of 2025 2.7 thousand times complained to the Bank of Russia to the consequences of the dropper. This was reported by the press service of the branch of Krasnoyarsk Bank of Russia.
Over the same period last year, there were a quarter less than such complaints.
Most often, the Krasnoyarsk residents complained about the work of banks. Such appeals received almost a third more. The number of complaints about blocking accounts and bank cards has grown significantly, as well as the suspension of operations and restricting access to remote banking services.
“Through an appeal to the regulator, people often deal with the consequences of the dropper – transferring their cards to withdraw money stolen by scammers. Many do not know that banks block all the accounts and cards of people if they see that they are used in such schemes. Let me remind you that if a person’s bank details fall into a special database of the Bank of Russia from law enforcement agencies, then banks are required to block remote service to such customers to withdraw their payment tools from fraudulent chains. I draw attention to the fact that the access to the droppers is limited to all banks, and not only where they are served, ”commented the manager of the branch of Krasnoyarsk Bank of Russia Sergey Zhuravlev.
Microfinance companies, on the contrary, began to appear less often in complaints – a decrease occurred by 15%. At the same time, the number of claims for the issuance of microloans has grown slightly, and to challenge the notes in credit stories have become less common. 3 times fewer complaints about the situations where the attackers, misleading people, made out microloans or gained access to personal offices of borrowers on the sites of online bindings.
“In March of this year, the most important tool for protecting against scammers has earned. Each Krasnoyarsk through the “State Services” portal can establish a “self -background” to receive loans and loans. On September 1, this service will be available at any MFC, some are already ready to offer it to their visitors, ”said Sergey Zhuravlev.
This year there are more complaints about insurers, in particular, incorrect calculation of OSAGO. Krasnoyarsk residents complained about the incorrect reflection of the Bonus Malus coefficient in the automated insurance information system (insurance AIS), as well as its incorrect use when concluding contracts.
According to Sergei Zhuravlev, now drivers have the opportunity to independently and freely clarify the value of this coefficient and challenge it through the website of the National Insurance Information System.
“If you think that the participant in the financial market has violated your rights, you must write a written claim to this organization, it is required to check and respond to it within 15 days. In the case of an unsatisfactory reaction to your appeal, write a complaint to the Bank of Russia, ”the manager of the department recommended.
