President of Poland imposed a veto law on social assistance to Ukrainians

According to him, “payments of 800+ should be provided only to those Ukrainians who take the obligation to work in Poland.”

Navrotsky emphasized that, in his opinion, “it is necessary to establish a certain social justice.” He emphasized that “the Poles in his own state should be interpreted at least at the level with our guests from Ukraine” and that this is a fundamental issue for him, therefore he “did not sign the law of assistance to Ukrainian citizens in such an edition.”

At the same time, the Polish leader added that he proposed his own bill on this issue. He called on the government and all parties in parliament for two weeks to work on the form of this law.

Among his proposals are the new rules for providing citizenship not only to citizens of Ukraine, but also to people from other regions, adds the media.

The president emphasized that Polish citizenship is “this is not only a great honor, but also responsibility, because the one who receives it affects the future of our national community.” He believes that the process of obtaining citizenship should last from three to 10 years, such a norm will be entered into his draft law.

Another point that offers Navrotsky concerns an increase in punishment for illegal crossing of the border – up to five years in prison.

The head of state also emphasized that it is necessary to “eliminate Russian propaganda” and build Polish-Ukrainian relations on a partner basis, so he suggests that the draft “Stop Banderism” be in the draft law.

“I want Banderism to equate in the German Nazism in the Criminal Code,” Navrotsky summed up.
