Seven hectares of dry vegetation, a dwelling and two cars in the Ilfovean locality of Tegheş were included in flames on Sunday afternoon, according to the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations Bucharest-Ilfov (ISUBIF).
The fire broke out on a field, and the fire expanded to the forest area, comprising a house with a height regime P+1+M.
In order to limit the propagation, the firefighters placed the special extinguishing vehicles on the edge of the forest and created the protective strips with the help of a plow tractor.
Acts eight extinguishing vehicles and four tanks within ISUBIF, as well as two extinguishing vehicles from ISU Giurgiu.
Water supply is done at a great distance, as there are no nearby water sources, ISUBIF representatives said.
Several pets, dogs and cats were evacuated from the fire. Firefighters specify that no victims have been registered.
The firefighters' intervention is in progress.
