According to the enterprise, the update covers 12 heating wells, four in each group that provide thermal preparation of slabs weighing up to 16 tons before renting.

The project provides for the modernization of mechanical and energy equipment, replacing about 900 tons of metal structures, updating hydraulics, automation systems and temperature sensors, the company reported. Overhaul will increase the reliability of the equipment, its energy efficiency and reduce the risks of unplanned downtime.
“In 2025, Zaporozhstal will also carry out large -scale repairs of the main units of thermal power center – boiler unit No. 5, turbogenerator No. 1 and turbocharger No. 7. About 75 million UAH investments are provided for these purposes.
