The highest spiritual and political leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Chamenei, said that the current conflict from the USA is unsolvable, and Tehran would not bend under Washington's pressure on the nuclear program, the Reuters agency said on Sunday.
– They want Iran to obey America. Our nation will oppose those who have such incorrect expectations – said Chamenei quoted by the state media.
Ayatollah thus rejected the appeals of Moderate Tehran's politicians to undertake direct negotiations with the United States, claiming that Washington's hostility cannot be overcome by talks – emphasized Iran International.
– Those who ask why we do not negotiate directly with the United States and do not solve these problems, are superficial, because the reality is different – said Chamenei during a meeting with his supporters in Tehran. – Given the real goal of America, which is hostility towards Iran, these issues are unsolvable.
Chamenei assured that Iran is ready to “eradicate” from the region of “our enemy, the one that bothers us” (Israel), and “what the brave residents of Yemen do today is the right path.” Yemeni Rebels Huti shoot Israel and attack civilian ships flowing along the Red Sea in the region they control.
Ayatollah's comments of Ali Chamenei appeared after Iran and European powers agreed on Friday to resume conversations to negotiate on the limitation of Tehran's work on enriching uranium. Tehran ensures that he is only interested in the peaceful use of nuclear technology, but enriches uranium to a level many times higher than suitable for any civil purposes.
France, Great Britain and Germany declared that they can re -activate the UN sanctions against Iran as part of the “Snapback” mechanism if Tehran does not return to negotiations.
