A knife attack on a US citizen on a tram in Dresden. Perpetrator at the wild


The incident occurred from Saturday to Sunday at around 0:25 on the tram of line 7 going from Weiksdorf to Pennrich. According to the police at the height of the stop at the famous Golden Rider “two men from the group accosted passengers”, and the American wanted to protect them from them.

The police summoned to the place detained one of the suspects 700 m further, at another stop. According to Bild's information, he is a 21-year-old who is called Majd A. He is a Syria citizen and escaped on a borrowed scooter. A police spokesman confirmed these reports: – We are investigating him and the perpetrator unknown, among others on charges of causing severe damage to health.
The victim suffered cut wounds
There were traces of blood on the tram after the event, there were handkerchiefs on the floor, which helping the American tried to stop bleeding. “A US citizen was wounded in the face as a result of a few cuts with a knife,” the police spokesman Thomas Geithner told Bild: Initially, one cut was talked.
