The Minister of National Defense, Ionuț Moșteanu, moved to Kiev on Sunday, on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day, and said that “every day of Ukrainian resistance means more safety for Romania and for all our allies.”

“Today, in Kiev, on the day when Ukraine celebrates its independence, my thoughts are heading to all those who have lost their lives in this unrighteous war, triggered by Putin Russia. Innocent civilians, destroyed families, children left without parents-victims of Russian aggression,”

He said he “laid a wreath in memory of all victims.”

“The Ukrainian people deserve all our admiration and support for the courage with which they defend not only their freedom, but also the security of Europe. Each day of Ukrainian resistance means more security for Romania and for all our allies. Romania remains firm on the side of Ukraine.

In a press release, the Ministry of Defense said that Ionuț Moșteanu also participates “in” Defense Cooperation Forum. Future Warfare “, where it presents the constant contribution and support for Ukraine, as well as the active role of our country in the international efforts to consolidate regional security and stability.”
